GCCS Christmas Showcase
Our tree is trimmed and halls are decked. Please join us on our campus to celebrate the birth of our Savior and joy of the holiday season. Under the direction of GCCS Music Teacher, Mr. Stuart Coles, students will perform tradition Christmas hymns and carols. If you ever wondered what angels sound like when they sing, GCCS students will give you an idea!
Story Time Saturday
Story Time Saturday is happening today from 10-12PM at GCCS, 8538 GSRI Ave. This program encourages early literacy in elementary students by engaging them in reading activities outside of a normal school day. All are welcome to join in on the fun- Please sign up below to volunteer!
Volunteers Needed:
Registration and sign in of volunteers and children
Reading Partners
Drama Group or large-group storyteller
We ask each Reading Partner/Volunteer Groups to Please Bring:
Books you wish to read (include some of your favorites, you will be taking these back with you unless you want to donate them to the student or school)
A blanket/beach towel to sit on with your student reading partner (you will take this back with you)
Healthy snacks to share with students upon arrival and/or dismissal

Back-to-school Family Picnic and Meet the Teacher Night
GCCS is welcoming students and their parents to its campus to meet their teacher(s) for the 2021 - 2022 school year. We will review the Parent-Student Handbook and discuss classroom expectations.
Following classroom introductions, families will enjoy food, fun, and fellowship in our backyard. We are grateful for our generous sponsors: Living Hope Fellowship, TruBlue Water, and Mr. Gatti’s Pizza on Essen Lane, as well as members of GRIT Networking Group and New Life Church.
Camp OTX
GCCS students, 2nd through 5th grade, will be in the Texas Hill Country attending Camp OTX. Thanks to our partners at the Camp Ozark Foundation, GCCS students will be attending sleep away, Summer camp for the 7th year!
